(electroacoustic music)
I am still working as sound designer in the Paris communication agency Villa d'Alesia when Yves Waucamp contacts me to associate me as composer to the project he directs for the studio. To compose music and original sounds for the Pavillon de la Communication opening (the famous Futuroscope de Poitiers droplet, consult the article). The images of water are beautifull. Then I compose a concrete music piece on which improvises the great saxophonist Didier Malherbe. My work on sounds and atmospheres, where are mixed Pierre Schaeffer, Pierre Henri and Edgar Varese's influences inspires him. I had to fiddle with magnetic tapes, look for music in the razor blade where it is necessary to manage the 6,25mm and 2 thumbs. The work is greeted by everybody. Patrick Besenval, the Productions du Futuroscope manager, appreciates it. I here thank him to contribute to this magnificent theme park creation.
The show has been played during several years... I continue to put the Prelude de l'eau theme on my demo CD so much I am attached to it.
1. Prelude de l'eau 5 '30 " 2. Indicibilite 45 " 3. Divorce aux chandelles 45 "
